Developed GPS tracking applications for a fleet of 2,000 Coach America vehicles dedicated to rail crew transportation for Burlington Northern / Santa Fe and Union Pacific railroads.  Developed APIs that use REST and SOAP.  (PHP, MS SQL Server)

These applications collected GPS data from the PeopleNet Fleet Management System and integrated it with the McLeod Loadmaster Fleet Management System.  One application used GPS data to audit trip vouchers used for billing.  The GPS data confirmed scheduled arrivals and departures from designated locations.  (PHP, MS SQL Server)

* Developed a Google Maps API V3 application to create visual trip histories.

* Developed an application that sent trip dispatch information to the DriveCam.com API.  DriveCam.com videos recorded dangerous events during trips and were used to measure driver safety.  (C#, WCF, PHP and MS SQL Server)

* Developed reports using Crystal Reports with Oracle and MS SQL Server.

* Managed the Coach America websites, keeping them updated with new tour information and schedules.  I modified the Coach America Benefits site to use the new insurance plans for 2012-2013.

Here are some examples of applications I developed at InterCall, and my responsibilities.

1.     Online Reports / ASP.NET / Oracle Application

I created two different applications for InterCall’s Online Reports.  One used Oracle directly, the other used Business Objects and Crystal Reports.  InterCall customers paid a monthly fee to use these systems.

The ASP.NET / Oracle application ran in a browser (IE) and created HTML reports by sending SQL queries directly to Oracle.  The reports could be exported as CSVs.

2.     Online Reports / Business Objects / Crystal Reports / BO .NET SDK

For the BO application I used the BO ASP.NET SDK to develop an Online Reporting system that accessed Crystal Reports from the BO Repository.  The UI allowed the user to filter the reports dynamically using any of the report columns in the CR layout.  The reports could be exported as CSVs.  The system used over forty Crystal Reports.  I developed most of them.

3.     Oracle Queries and Stored Procedures

I created and modified Oracle stored procedures that created tables used by Crystal Reports.  I also created Oracle queries that were used directly as Command Objects for Crystal Reports.

4.     Xcelsius Dashboards

I created prototypes for Xcelsius dashboards that were used as examples for another team that did the dashboard development.

5.     Crystal Reports with Alerts for the InterCall Sales Teams

I developed an analytical approach to Sales Analysis and Customer Retention based on Moving Average Analysis.  Any company with a Weekly Revenue that was below 50% of their 4-Week Moving Average triggered an alert report and was contacted by an InterCall account manager.

6.     Adhoc Excel Spreadsheets for InterCall Departments and Customers

I developed Excel spreadsheets for InterCall Account Managers based on Oracle queries.  Many of these were rapid responses to customer requests, and the spreadsheets were sent to customers by the account managers.
